I went to a kind of animation world one day this summer.
To get there I walked along a silent street in Mitaka, Tokyo. I had a good feeling at that time. I kept going forward to the place I wanted go. Then I found the bus stop. It's a famous and cute bus stop in Japan. This is it!
I was on my way to the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka. This is the animation world. I was talking about.
I arrived there where the atmosphere is so nice, and I thought that this is the real Ghibli world. Different places in this museum reveal Ghibli's fantasy world to the guests.
I met the big robot from LAPUTA: Castle in the sky on the museum roof. The robot was tall and huge. In addition, the quality was amazing.
And I saw many beautiful stained glass windows related to Ghibli animation. All the stained glass was shining because it was a sunny day.
Photography and video recording are not allowed inside the museum, because Hayao Miyazaki asks that we make what we experience in the museum a special memory to take home with us.
But I really wanted to take pictures inside this museum. In the end, I took only a few pictures outside, but I congratulate myself for going there.
If you like Ghibli animation, you have to go there. Probably you are going to have an unbelievable experience.
